How we handle your data.

What we process

When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data your browser sends (such as your IP address and the page requested) to deliver the site securely and reliably. If you email us, we process the details you provide in order to reply.

When you subscribe to the monthly newsletter, we process your email address, the page from which you subscribed, the time of submission and the version of the consent notice shown with the form. We use this information to confirm and manage your subscription, send the newsletter and document your consent.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We use a double opt-in process: submitting the form starts the request, and the subscription becomes active only after you confirm through the email we send you. Providing your email address is voluntary, but we cannot send the newsletter without it.

The signup is received and routed through Make.com, a workflow-automation service, and may then be processed by the service provider used to deliver the newsletter. These providers process subscription data on our behalf. Where processing involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an applicable adequacy decision or safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep your email address while the subscription is active. If you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, we stop sending the newsletter and delete the subscription data when it is no longer needed. We may retain the minimum information needed to document the previous consent and ensure that an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.

You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future by using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the technical connection data described above on our behalf as a processor, under a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Web analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint or track you across other websites. It records aggregate page views, referrers and general technical information such as browser and country. We cannot identify you from it.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this requires no consent banner under § 25 TDDDG. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how this site is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object at any time using the contact address above.

No cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking technologies.

Your rights

You may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data; restrict or object to processing; receive data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
